What is the point of having judges if the worst ones keep staying on. They need to change the whole voting process. Perhaps narrow it down to the bottom 3 by america's votes...and then the judges make the final decision. Now THAT would be fair.

Sanjaya and then Brandon are the worst. Even though Haley forgot the words, her performance was overall one of her better ones. Simon was very "human" in not ceiling her coffin like he could have. I think she realizes this and maybe America will give her another chance. Lord knows, if Sanjaya gets it, she deserves it as well...

I am in agreement with Claudia in that Sanjaya needs to go. He has no enthusiasm & he just cannot sing. I don't think I can bare another week of him singing (if that is what you call it). Please America...vote for the best singer, not the person you feel most sorry for.

I think that the judging needs to change..America has 50% of the vote and the judges 50% because obviously America has been getting it wrong!

I TOTALLY agree. Sanjaya is terrible! He has beat out 4 other good singers!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA????????? The 3 judges need to be the ones to make the vote, not America, not if they keep being stupid and voting for Sanjaya. So many GOOD singers have been voted off (even in previous seasons) because people vote for the BAD ONES!!! GET IT RIGHT AMERICA!!!!!!!!!

Well, the author's prophecy came true. The most talented, watchable male contestant got voted off. The silver lining is that Sanjaya is languishing at the bottom of the deck, unless the producers were playing games with the viewers, making us believe it truly came down to a choice between him or Brandon. PLEASE AMERICA: VOTE SANJAYA OFF THE SHOW NEXT WEEK!

I stopped watching AL three years ago because of the voting system and watching good singers get the boot namely(Jen Hudson)and others . i thought i would watch this year and see if things had changed. WRONG things are still the same, for heavens sake's FOX get this voting system fixed. its just so not right ..the same thing keeps happening over and over. good talent going home and keeping some of the worse singing i've ever heard. most of America VOTERS JUST CAN'T CAST THE VOTES RIGHT. This is not about who looks the best. FOX needs to fix this voting system its just not working. and please please get RID OF SANJAYA I CAN'T TAKE ANOTHER WEEK OF HIM I HAVE TO KEEP TURNING THE CHANNEL WHEN HE TRIES TO SING AND THAT FAKE SMILE MAKES ME PUKE. We can not believe that Sanjaya is still on. If you read all of the comments everyone feels the same way. He is horible and should have been the one to leave before the final 12. It is not America voting it appears Sanjaya must have a lot of his nationalities voting for him and not for the people who can really can sing. Let's not feel sorry for this 17 year old he tried, but as Simon has said this is a singing show, let's get down to voting for the ones who can sing and deserve to win. Take a look at their faces when Sanjaya continues to stay. They can not believe some of the choices America has made. Let's hope American gets' their act together.

I agree, Sanjaya (in my opinion) should have gone home the first week. How he made it to the top twelve is beyond me. The web site (Vote For The Worst) must be voting for him.

I agree with #2 100% about changing the voting! I thinking letting the judges pick from the bottom three is a good idea.

Can't Everyone tell that Sanjaya is a HOMOSEXUAL? He's so obviously gay! Maybe we should tell the teenage girls that... then they won't vote for him anymore! -AND- Does everyone know that there are TWO full rounds of auditions before you even get to SING for simon and paula? I auditioned for Season 2. I'm a professional singer and I didn't even MAKE it to them.... ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous. Either way- Melinda Doolitle rocks my world and she completely deserves to make a record. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I agree totally with some of the comments...the Judges do need to have some kind of input as far as the scoring of talent. "THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THE EXPERTS" Sanjaya, Bless His Heart, he can sing, but hes not up to the others caliber by any standards. Sandi

I have been watching AI sinced it's debut. I love it! But people are right. The voting can not go on like this. Sanjaya is the worst singer since Idol started. If he keeps on going, I, for one will stop watching the show. It's not fair to those who can at least carry a note!!!!???
